…......the journey begins..........
We encourage you to register for this workshop and become part of the Tai Chi
Vermont team of over 100 instructors teaching Tai Chi throughout the state.
Most of our certified Tai Chi instructors become volunteers, leading classes for the
Agencies on Aging within Vermont. Some seek training as part of their job with
SASH (Support and Services at Home) or at a senior residence. Others become
independent teachers, whether working at a fitness club or adding Tai Chi to other
systems they already practice or teach (physical therapy, yoga, etc.).
This workshop will cover Level One--the Basic Movements--of our Fall Prevention
Tai Chi form and our teaching method. We'll work from 9:00 to 5:00 each day. You
will be sent a DVD to learn with before the workshop, along with a book, Teaching
Tai Chi Effectively, that's packed with useful information. Snacks each day will be
Cost: $250. Many agencies and employers are willing to cover fee; we can provide
billing to them. Please check with your agency or employer to see what support
SVCOA will sponsor volunteers! Contact Courtney Anderson at 802-772-7828 or email@example.com
