CAREGIVER SUPPORT SERVICES
Caring for a loved one can be rewarding but it can also be difficult and frustrating at times. Many caregivers may not know where to turn for help. The Council provides support, assistance and information to people caring for persons 60 years of age or older as well as to people age 60 and older who are the primary caregivers for children under the age of 18.
The types of help we offer includes:
- Assistance to assess needs and identify options
- Information about community resources and local programs
- Accessing respite care
- Caregiver lending library
- Caregiver newsletter
